Important places in Guildford

Guildford has a wealth of interesting buildings and places, from simply constructed weatherboard houses such as Taylor’s Cottage, through to buildings constructed by convicts labour including the impressive Courthouse and parts of the Gaol.  Beautiful houses, built after the 1890’s gold boom line every street, and more recent buildings such as the stylish Art Deco Features of the Town Hall – visitors can trace the town’s history.
