‘Blood Sacrifice’ Display for WA Heritage Month

A new display can be seen in the Swan Valley Visitor Centre from 18th April to 30th August 2016 for Western Australian Heritage Festival.  This honours the Field Ambulance and Australian Army Nurses of World War I. Learn about the training at Blackboy Hill camp of the 3rd Field Ambulance; the role of the army nurses and the casualties of the carnage that was WWI. See rare original uniforms and equipment from the conflict that changed a generation.
