New Display for WA Heritage Month

The Swan Guildford Historical Society¬†is mounting a new display ‘Blood Sacrifice’ in the Swan Valley Visitor Centre from the 18th April to 30th August.¬† This honours the Field Ambulance and Australian Army Nurses of World War I. Learn about the training at Blackboy Hill camp of the 3rd Field Ambulance; the role of army nurses and the casualties of the carnage that was WWI. See rare original uniforms and equipment from the conflict that changed a generation.
